Landscape & Weather
Inspired by my sister’s adolescence and my father’s health journey, I photograph spaces of transition, loss, and growth.
Feelings of isolation and grief are overwhelming, they seep into our surroundings, and we pass them on to each other. Pain starts with the individual yet it ripples and reverberates. But in the same way, it takes a little crack to let the light in and fill the room. Different aches but the same hurt, different relief but the same hope. These are pictures of our home and the states we inhabit.
“Behind every beautiful thing, there’s been some kind of pain” — Bob Dylan
